RE: fed up
The dealer just sold it. The manufacturer built it and is the most responsible. Trust me, if the builder stood behind their product and replaced it I am sure the dealer would not object. On the other hand is it fair to ask the dealer to accept full responsibility for defects caused by the builder? I think most dealers will step up to the plate for you if they think the builder will coopperate. My experience is that the ones that built the RV could care less once they have your money. Hope your experience is different and better. Good luck.
RE: inflatable boat options
Our inflatable is only 8 feet long but must weigh about 80 lbs and it is not small when deflated. Only place it can really go is in the PU bed or the middle of the HTT. Motor goes in the PU bed. Planes nicely with a 2.5 nissan.
RE: 2 or 4 wheeled tote
Actually most two wheelers are towed by the TV. Ours also hooks onto the ball and would be too heavy to move manually when full
RE: 2 or 4 wheeled tote
depends on where you will be able to store the tote. Ours has 2 wheels and will not handle either tank full but... easily stores on our ladder with a homemade bracket. Works great for us and has never been overfilled.
RE: Today is the day to cut a hole in my camper ! ! ! ! ! !
Mark, I believe I have seen some of your other mods in the past and I think you have it under complete control and dont need any luck. In fact I bet that it will be better than if you had hired a "professional". Looking forward to pics also. OK since a little luck never hurt... Good luck
RE: Does "lite" = cheap quality
In a used unit that is older, the prior owner's are likely to be as important as the actual builder. If mine were for sale you might think r-vision built a decent unit, but I would not recommend them to anyone.
RE: My first Tow...weight problems HELP!
I know this is not what you want to hear, but if I were you I would want to hear it. So.... IMHO you will be overloaded at a minimum and if you pack like me you will be dangerously overloaded. I run at @80% fully loaded and would not want to pull much more than that. Good luck and hope you can work it out.
RE: Maiden voyage complete!! lessons learned, few questions
helps to deploy stab jacks and tongue jack on larger pieces of wood or something to minimize sinking of the bases into softer ground. We always sink in some unless on concrete or very cold asphalt.
RE: R-Vision Travel Trailers..How Is Your's Holding Up?
leaks leaks and more leaks. rain, plumbing and propane. Major plumbing and propane have been corrected but... Ours is usually good for 3-4 more rain leaks per year on average. In fact I just found another last night. Good luck with yours
